What is On-screen Testing?

Onscreen testing is an alternative to the traditional paper-based testing of Key Skills and Basic Skills.
It tests the mulitple-choice tests at Level 1 and 2 using a computer based package which answers and marks the test.
This enables the centre to enter candidates at the point at which they are ready to achieve, raising achievement levels.

How Long are the Onscreen tests?

  • Numeracy and Application of Number tests last 75 minutes
  • Literacy and Communication tests last 60 minutes
