Friday 5th December sees the start of the Year 11 Mock Exams. Here is some information about the Mocks.

Why do we do them? The results are passed on to colleges during your application process and to employers when your trying to get part-time jobs, before your real results are realised.
Do I need to revise? Yes. You must do your best, to give yourself a chance at knowing exactly how well you are doing and how much work you need to do in the New Year.
What if I fail my Mocks? Does it mean I'll fail my proper GCSE's? No it doesn't mean you'll fail your GCSE's. However, it does mean that you must find out from your teacher what you did wrong and how you can improve it. Just forgetting the mocks and thinking "I'll do it right in the summer, may not work as you want it to.
Where can I get help? GCSE Bitesize and SAMLEARNING have helpful hints, but most importantly you must speak to your subject teacher or the Head of Department.
