Welcome to the BBC School Report page for The Derby High School. Visit this page of the 26th March 2009 to view articles related to school news and current affairs from the perspective of our own students. This project is a collaboration with the BBC and other schools across the UK.

This project is new to The Derby pupils and a group of Year 9 pupils will be spending the day showing their best journalistic skills. On the 26th March, students will spend the day broadcasting news across the web from this site. Why not visit at various points in the day to watch their progress? 

On the 9th March 15 pupils, along with pupils from Counthill High and Our Lady's RC High from Oldham, spent a taster day making a Radio and TV news bulletin's. The day was very enjoyable and all pupils learnt a number of skills, especially with expert advice from representatives from BBC Manchester.
