Essential for both boys and girls:
Navy Blue Blazer (complete with School Badge)
School Tie
Apron
Outer Garments
Coat or anorak is required. (Leather effect, denim or garish materials are not acceptable as outer garments).
Sweatshirts/hooded tops should not be worn under the blazer.
BOYS’ UNIFORM
Black or charcoal grey trousers (not light or mid-grey)
White shirt.
V-neck Navy school pullover – long sleeves.
Black shoes (trainers are not acceptable). No white soles, white trims, designs etc. Plain black only and no boots please.
Socks – preferably dark coloured.
Jewellery – Boys are not permitted to wear jewellery other than a wrist watch. Visible body piercing is not allowed in school.
No earrings (please do not have piercings done near end of holiday).
Hairstyles – Extreme hairstyles are not acceptable. This includes shaven heads (not less than a 2 please) and shaved patterns.
Physical Education and Sports:
One pair gym shoes/trainers.
Elastic topped shorts (royal blue).
Football jersey, blue and white vertical stripes.
Football socks, royal blue with white bands on tops.
Football boots.
Blue athletic sleeveless vest with white chest band (optional for Summer term).
Navy blue jogging bottoms and navy blue sweatshirt may be worn as an optional addition during the winter months.
We expect parents to exercise common sense in buying garments for their children, and to ensure that they keep strictly within the terms of our uniform policy. Please ensure that all items of school uniform are labelled with your child’s name.
In certain instances, pupils will be allowed to wear additional clothing for reasons of religious or ethnic origin; such clothing must comply with the school’s requirements concerning colour, fabric and safety.
Full school uniform must be worn to and from school.
GIRLS’ UNIFORM
Essential for both boys and girls:

Sweatshirts/hooded tops should not be worn under the blazer.
Navy blue skirt of reasonable length or navy blue tailored trousers with crease - not too tight. Worsted/terylene (not cotton or cotton/mix material).
Excessively short or tight skirts are not acceptable; they must be no higher than 9cm from the knee. No splits in skirts please.
White shirt.
V-neck Navy school pullover – long sleeves.
Plain black shoes (not suede). Fashion shoes (e.g. high heels, open toes and heels) are not acceptable because they are not
suitable and may be a danger in school. Heels may not exceed 4cm. Boots and trainers are not acceptable in school. No "slip on" shoes.
Navy tights, thick plain rib, or plain white ankle socks. In summer, lighter denier tights can be worn.
Jewellery – No jewellery at all may be worn apart from a wrist watch.
Girls with pierced ears may wear one pair of plain gold studs or sleepers, one in each ear.
No diamante earrings of any type.
Any other form of visible body piercing is not allowed in school (i.e. no piercings in the nose, mouth, eyebrow etc.).
No make-up.
Hairstyles should be suitable for school. Unnatural hair dyes, coloured hair extensions and other extreme styles are not acceptable.
Hair clips etc should be suitable for school, i.e. dark, sensible colours.
Physical Education and Sports:
White gym shoes or white training shoes (not boots)
Navy kit style skirt or
Navy blue jogging bottoms (plain – a very small motif is acceptable)
White Aertex cotton blouse
Navy hockey socks and white ankle socks
Navy blue gym knickers or navy blue cycling shorts
Navy blue sweatshirt (optional extra for winter months)

Please label all items of school uniform with your child’s name.
